What on earth is 'toast'?

Good question...

toast is an event run by members of SFCC (that's Sherwood Forest Community Church for those who need the full name). It's an event for young(ish) people where everybody gets together and has a good time. We finish with a time of worship but people can choose to go before that - there's no hitting people over the heads with Bibles.

It's a safe event to bring non-Christian friends to (see above about Bible-hitting) and we'll be expanding it over time.

The first event was on 23 February 2008. See the homepage for the next event date. We'll be going until as late as necessary and we're open to suggestions about what we do in the future. We're planning around four events per year, roughly quarterly (but only very roughly) and future dates will be posted on this site as soon as we know them...
